This site is mentioned in the Bible, and was mentioned by Eusebius in Onomasticon (Eus. On. 90: 18f) and (28: 4f), and also in the book Jewish war by Josephus, and the location was determined at Taybeh – Ramallah and is about 5 km from “Betin”.(coord. 178 – 151) Saint Jerome (Ironimus), in his translation of the Onomasticon, used the Aramaic name Ephraia for this site.
