On. 18:13-16), and when the name was translated from Greek as it appeared on the map of Madaba, it became (Ailamon), and the site was not fixed in the direction east of Bethel as Bishop Eusebius had appointed it, but rather the site was designated near (modern Nicopolis – Emmaus), and at the site of the ruins of the village of (Yalu) (Yalo) (coord. 152 – 138), on the southeastern side of Ramla, about 23 km away from it, but the map of Madaba did not take this into account.
