Archimandrite Innokentios Exarchos
The late Father Innokentios was born in 1952 and dedicated his life from his youth to the service of the Brotherhood of the Holy Sepulchre, undertaking various roles and duties within the Patriarchate throughout his career.
He played a prominent role in elevating the standard of education within the Patriarchate—particularly in Jordan—and made significant contributions to developing the pilgrimage site in the city of Madaba, thereby enhancing the city’s status and role as a destination for pilgrims and visitors.
He continued his service and dedication until he fell asleep in the Lord in 2025, leaving behind a legacy of devoted service and a cherished memory among the Church and its faithful; his efforts remain an integral part of the history of both the Patriarchate and the city of Madaba.
