The phrase “from Dan to Beersheba” appears in the Bible several times, and it symbolizes the entire land of Canaan, the Kingdom of Israel and the Kingdom of Judah, in which (the tribes) of Jacob’s sons settled, that is, from the far north (Dan) to the far south (Beersheba).
