Gedur
There is a problem in locating “walls”/”walls” mentioned by Bishop Eusebius (Eus. On. 68:22f), about ten miles on the road between Lydda and Beit Jibrin, is a large village, perhaps Khirbet Sheikh Ali Jader (Cord 146-137), about 2.5 km west of Latrun, near Emmaus Bishop Eusebius may have wanted to designate the town of Jedor mentioned in the Bible in the Book of Joshua 15:58, which is located to the south ( Khirbet Jaddur) (coord. 158-115) which is located in the northwest of Halhul (coord. 160-109) 6 km away.
Gedor (Gedur) or Gedara (Gedara), known in Aramaic as Gedirtha (Gidirtha), is located near Latrun, and is not mentioned by name in the Bible, and also the important biblical site of Gezer (Gezer), which is close to Emmaus, is not mentioned in the Madaba mosaic map.
