Jatt is one of the cities of the five Palestinian kingdoms that existed in southwestern Palestine, namely [Jatt, Ekron, Ashdod, Ashkelon, and Gaza]. It was mentioned in the Bible several times and was also mentioned by Bishop Eusebius (Eus. On. 72: 2 – 4), and it is believed that there is another site called (Gittheim/Gittham), at Ras Abu Hamad in Ramla, but the location of Gath fixed on the map is consistent with what is stated in the Bible.
