A site that appears on the map of Madaba as a shrine to “Saint Jonah” with a red dome and two towers. There are several shrines dedicated to Saint Jonah, such as the shrine of Saint (Al-Bar) Jonah near Sarafand in the southwestern part of Sidon, and Tell Jonah, 5 km south of Jaffa, and also near Ashdod.
